The End of a Stellar Year
Now that Christmas is officially over, we’re now in the last days of 2024. The end of the year is the perfect time to reflect on how things at Viernor has changed throughout the year. It’s hard to believe it but this is the end of the second year the website’s been up. My, how time flies by!
With this being the last article for 2024, it’s a bittersweet time as we prepare to say farewell to the year though with 2025 on the horizon, the future is shining bright! As we enter 2025, Viernor remains dedicated to giving you, our loyal readers, the tools you need to make the fantasy world you’ve always dreamed of!
Our ever-growing library of articles are designed to help you achieve that dream. Think of each one of them as a piece of a massive puzzle; each one fits somewhere and when you put them all together, you have the full picture. With all of our articles, it can be a tad overwhelming where to start which is why I suggest you go to our Beginner’s Guide that covers the basics of building a fantasy world to get started.
If you are not sure how to go about writing a fantasy novel, fear not! We have a handy-dandy guide that covers many of the topics you need to know so check it out! This is one of the things that were added to the website in 2024!
As 2024 comes to an end, Viernor is in a better position than it was at the beginning of the year. The changes I made throughout 2024 have only put it in a stronger position. This is an important priority for me, for I want the website to be the best it can be!
I’d like to take this moment to thank those who found Viernor and took the time to read one or more of the articles I’ve posted on the website. It means a lot to me that you chose to come to Viernor and I hope they’ve helped you make the fantasy world of your dreams. I appreciate each one of you and I hope you come back to check out our newest articles!

I enjoyed writing all the articles I posted throughout the year as well as the drawings I made. You can find all these articles on our blog page so take a look at the ones that catch your eye! It isn’t work if you love it!
When I started Viernor over a year ago, my goal was to create articles that focused on just one building block of constructing a fantasy world from scratch. Whether it’s for a video game or a novel, building an imaginary world that not only feels real but makes you want to live there is no easy task. It is a mammoth feat which is why all of my articles focus on just one thing at a time.
There’s a bevy of fantastic articles, nearly all of which are broken down into categories and series. Just choose one on our blog page to get started though be warned: some will have additional articles in the future so you’ll have to come back to read them!
Well, it looks like this article is winding to a close so I want to thank you, my readers, for coming to Viernor and reading the website’s articles. If you’re an experienced creator or are just starting out, I hope this website’s helped you as you endeavor to become a fantasy world builder.
Creating a fantasy world is one of my lifelong passions and it brings a smile to my face, knowing that I’m helping other people achieve their dream of building one from scratch. There is nothing better than seeing the world you created come to life that are filled with interesting characters with their own goals and ambitions, fascinating cities and towns that you just want to explore, and so on!
As we prepare to close the book on 2024, I just want to say that the future for constructing an imaginary world has never looked any brighter than it does now. Yes, it’s hard work but it’s not work if you’re doing something you love.
Farewell 2024, it was a stellar year for the website but 2025 will be better!
